Gradings

Gradings are examinations held four times a year in March, June, September & December.

A grading consists of a student being requested to perform a set number of techniques with a training partner, in front of a ratified examiner. Who then decides whether the student has achieved a fail, pass, credit or honours in their Jujitsu techniques.

Times:

Juniors - 10:00am to 12:30pm

Seniors - 1:00pm to 3:30pm

RED THRU TO BROWN BELT INCLUDING KATAS

If you wish to grade please hand in the following to Sensei’s Rob Phelps or Nathan Webb 1 week before grading; BUDO pass, INSURANCE certificate and FULL payment. NOTE: If this is your first grading then you will not yet have a Budo pass (grading record) or insurance certificate. 

Please make sure when you grade your Gi is clean, you have your current belt, your toe & finger nails are cut short, long hair is tied back and all jewelry is removed.
